Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Chief Executive Officer, Doug Florkowski is please to announce Family Medicine Physician, Jeffery Smith, M.D., will be starting in the LCMH Primary Care Clinic on April 6th.
Dr Smith has over 25 years of Family Medicine experience. Dr Smith graduated with a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN (1980) and completed his internship and residency at Methodist Hospital of Gary, Indiana, (1980-1983). Dr Smith has been a clinical instructor at the Indiana University School of Medicine since 1994.
"We are excited to welcome Dr Smith to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital," said Doug Florkowski, LCMH's CEO. "His addition to the primary care clinic allows us to continue to provide quality primary care services to our community while expanding our physician base for the people of Lawrence County. Dr Smith also has extensive Emergency Room experience and will be a positive addition to our excellent Medical Staff."
As a Family Medicine Physician, Dr Smith will see patients of all ages and is accepting new patients at the LCMH Primary Care Clinic.
