Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Whether you are recovering from injury or illness or managing a chronic condition like diabetes or heart disease, what you put in your body matters to your overall health. 

Lawrence County Memorial Hospital is committed to helping patients understand how nourishing, well-balanced meals can improve their treatment, recovery and quality of life. That’s why we maintain a part-time registered dietitian to provide inpatient nutrition counseling during your hospital stay.  Outpatient nutrition services are also provided with a physician’s referral.
