Hospital Amenities

Information Desk
You may have questions upon arrival at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Experienced and knowledgeable staff members at the Information Desk can help you find a patient room number and directions to that room. You can find the Information Desk inside the main entrance of the hospital.

The Information Desk is staffed Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 4 PM. Hours may vary due to volunteer availability.

Patient Rooms
Most inpatient rooms at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital are private (one patient per room). We strive to make our rooms as home-like as possible by including comfortable chairs, a television, phone and other in-room features.

Visitor Overnight Stays
A family member or support person may spend the night in a patient room with the nurse’s permission. If you plan to sleep in the patient’s room, please ask the nurse for a pillow and blanket. Do not bring your own from home. This helps maintain a sanitary environment.

Food/Dining

  • Room Service: Our Food and Nutritional Services Department is committed to offering you a variety of choices. The team has developed menus to not only entice your taste buds but also meet your nutritional needs. Dietary staff will visit your room daily to discuss meal choices. The menu offerings will incorporate any dietary restrictions put in place by your doctor. This might include low salt or low sugar foods.
  • Families and Guests: Patients are prescribed a diet by their physician according to their illness/condition. Please do not bring food to the patient unless their doctor has given permission.

Internet Access/Wifi
  • Free WiFi is available for all patients and guests at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Select Care4 as your network to connect.
  • Coverage may be limited in certain areas of the hospital.
