Lawrence County Memorial Hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services. Our highly-skilled team uses laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and traditional open surgery to address and treat a variety of medical conditions. Services include:

Emergency General Surgery
Urgent surgical intervention for conditions such as appendicitis.

General Surgery
Broad range of medical services that treat a variety of organ systems including the digestive tract (colonoscopy, abnormal bleeding, etc.), abdomen and its contents, breasts, endocrine glands (thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, etc.) and skin lesions.

Minimally Invasive Surgery
Use of small incisions, tubes, cameras, surgical instruments and other techniques to minimize pain, reduce risk of infection and facilitate faster recovery. Laparoscopic procedures include gallbladder, appendix removal, hernia and tubal ligation.
